Ministry Circles

We spent the pandemic discerning new mission goals and heard God calling us to: Celebrate our Anglican tradition, Cultivate each one of us as disciples and leaders and Connect in relationship as we serve our community. We then completely restructured our community life from 10 standing committees to 3 circles of ministry in order to help us live out these mission goals.

The Beloved Community Ministry Circle stewards all of our community partnership and service ministries:

a) “ The Gift-Farm Garden” grows organic vegetables for the St. Michael’s Food Cupboard, for Lifestyle Equity Group Homes in Rutland, the Gospel Mission, and individual households experiencing food insecurity.
b) The Chili Ministry: We prepare hot chili meals for NOW Canada’s Alexandra’s Gardner’s House and CMHA’s Willowbridge during the winter season.
c) Advocacy and education in partnership with the Formation Ministry Circle (below).
d) Annual collections of winter clothing, personal care items etc as needed by our wider community.
e) PWRDF: We also support the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund

The Formation Ministry Circle looks after our spiritual formation as disciples of Christ which includes education programs, seasonal series, spiritual practices and parish retreats.

The Kirks & Glens Ministry Circle ( which means churches and valleys) looks after the care and maintenance our both our church buildings, our hall, and both the church and cemetery grounds.
